Turbo E's Use & Care
Ensure your grill is connected to a properly grounded GFCI outlet. Refer to the user manual for specific grounding instructions to ensure safety and optimal operation.
Yes, if it's a 3-wire, outdoor-rated cord with the correct electrical rating. Check for damage before use.
*Please be aware of the power load and power loss associated with extension cords as they may prevent the grill from achieving optimal performance. For safety and efficiency, ensure that the power load of the extension cord is over 1800W.
Weather conditions like cold and wind can extend cooking times. For best results, position your grill to face into the wind, which helps maintain a consistent temperature.
If your grill overheats, turn it off and open the lid to let it cool down. Refer to the user manual or contact support for help.
Regularly empty and clean it to prevent grease buildup and potential flare-ups. After each use, allow the grill to cool, then remove the receptacle, dispose of the grease safely, and wash the receptacle with soapy water. Reinstall it securely before your next grilling session. Regular maintenance helps keep your grill safe and functioning properly.
Turbo E's Maintenance
Wash with mild soap and water, using a soft brush or cloth. Dry thoroughly.
The cleaning routine for your grill should depend on how often you use it. Burn off excess food after each use. If you grill frequently, consider a deep clean of the entire grill every one to two months to maintain optimal performance and safety.
Gently wipe with a damp cloth; avoid using brushes or scrapers.
Check and clean before each use with soapy water. Dry fully before reinstalling.
Use mild soap with a soft cloth for both painted and stainless steel surfaces. Avoid abrasives. For stainless steel, apply cleaner in the direction of the grain.
Turbo E's Troubleshooting
Check power supply: plug into a grounded outlet, reset/replace GFCI, try a different outlet, and ensure the grill is on a dedicated circuit. If issues persist, the heating element might need replacement. Call 1-800-474-5587 for parts.
Preheat the grill with the lid closed. If it's windy, shield the grill or reposition it.
The circuit may be overloaded; ensure the grill’s electrical connections are dry. Keep the cord off the ground and away from water. For damp locations, allow circuits to dry before resetting.
Trim excess fat from meat, opt for leaner cuts, and use lower temperature settings. Ensure regular cleaning of the grill and grease receptacle to remove grease and food buildup.
It indicates a broken internal temperature probe. Replace it with a new one.
