- ½ cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 cup fresh parsley, packed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup finely minced red onion
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- ¼ tsp coarse sea salt
- Zest of 1 lemon
Salmon Rub
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
For Grilling
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- Olive oil (for drizzling)
Directions
- Preheat the Turbo E Grill to 500°F while preparing the ingredients.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, parsley, minced garlic, red onion, chili flakes, sea salt, and lemon zest to make the Lemon Chimichurri Sauce. Mix well and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, brown sugar, kosher salt, and cayenne pepper to prepare the rub.
- Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets and season evenly with the rub. Arrange slices of lemon and orange on a grill-safe tray, and place the seasoned salmon on top.
Reduce the grill temperature to 400°F and place the tray on the grill. Cook the salmon for about 10-15 minutes.
- Drizzle half of the chimichurri sauce over the salmon and continue grilling for another 5 minutes.
- Remove the salmon from the grill, drizzle with the remaining chimichurri sauce, and cut into portions. Serve hot and enjoy!
