Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
-
4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 ¼ cups chopped chocolate, divided
-
nuts (optional)
Directions
Preheat your Turbo E Outdoor Electric Grill to 350°F.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated white sugar, and dark brown sugar until smooth and well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Sift the all-purpose flour and cocoa powder into the wet mixture using a sifting screen. Stir the ingredients evenly until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Fold in 1 cup of the chopped chocolate gently.
Pour the batter evenly into two greased and lined 8-inch round cake pans or containers.
Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of chopped chocolate and nuts (optional) on top of the batter.
Place the pans on the grill and bake for 25 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool in the pans for at least 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice into squares or wedges and serve.
